• Well, the pure, unbridled hypeness that is Hip Hop Karaoke will be at concrete on Weds 18th January to once again give you YOUR chance to get on the mic and act out your rap fantasies to the fullest, whether that’s teaming up with friends to rock through a Wu-Tang jam, living the lyrical highlife like Jay-Z or Drake, bawsin it like Rick Ross, celebrating summertime with The Fresh Prince or acting all crazy like Nicki Minaj or Ol Dirty Bastard. It’s no exaggeration to say that this is a legendary night out.

There’s really nothing like a Hip Hop Karaoke event – so we look forward to seeing y’all there!

  • Change the Record at Concrete

This month sees the return of London Design Festival, celebrating creative talent across the city. To mark the occasion, we’re teaming up with architecture and design magazine Dezeen to host a live performance by London-based designer Paul Cocksedge.

Join us on September 20th for ‘Change the Record’, where you can see Paul transform old LPs into elegant speakers. The finished product is an entirely unique object that you can use to amplify sound from your smartphone. No wires, no electricity – just an ingenious rethinking of the LP in the age of the MP3.

Bring along an old 12’ that’s been gathering dust and take it home in its new, rather more practical form for just £25. Or simply come down and watch Paul work his magic.

    ‘Change the Record’
    20th September, 9.00pm – Midnight
