Soul Syndicate

On Sunday July 18th, the Soul Syndicate gang of Ion Mighty, Dean Rudland and David Hill, welcome legendary soul selector Guy Hennigan to Concrete for another round of Soul deliciousness.

And last time, the soul they served up was so good, we turned it up in Pizza East. AMEN!

We’re so excited to have the guys back and this time they’re bringing special guest Guy Hennigan who “has been spinning for decades and together with Keb Darge pushed the scene forward at Stafford’s legendary Top of The World club in the 80’s.”

Dean Rudland runs the label Ace Records BGP and has spent “the best part of twenty years” putting together soul, Latin and jazz compilation albums.

Getting his leg up at Tony’s Empress Ballroom in Blackburn in the 80’s is Ion who is now a “stalwart of the British soul scene” and has been collecting “overpriced vinyl for nearly 30 years now.”

I’m not sure there could actually be a more qualified or cooler group of guys to put a soul night on?

David and pals are sure to get us all smooth, soul’d and sexy’d on Sunday and it’ll be the perfect place to finish off a fab weekend at Concrete.

Soulfully yours,

Josh
